This is a simple retexture mod for the default SimCity Moving Trucks. I found the existing moving truck textures quite boring when they flock to your city after zoning new residential areas. This mod serves to give the trucks a more realistic, familiar feel. If you notice any problems, please report them in the comments and I will look at the issues as soon as possible. Be looking for more mods like this very soon! Thanks for your support. Happy modding :)

Hi everyone I'm looking to see if someone would be able to build a police vehicle it's not your normal car/van but an armoured vehicle from Northern Ireland. I would really love to be able to have these in game I’m sure others would also like these as they are quite intense. I’m not sure how to include the photo in this box but have a link below that will explain all thanks everyone.

I am not having any luck with searching the forum for this so i'm just going to ask.
      1.  does anyone know of a decent school bus prop?
(other than this one http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=655927209 )
      2.  if not, how hard would it be to turn an existing vehicle into a prop version?
      like this one http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=483867475
if someone has posted a how to or walkthrough on conversion i should at least be able to get a local copy for use.  i wouldnt post to the workshop with out original uploaders thumbs up.
      Thanks!

Yesterday I was importing my Volvo police car with new skin, in same way as I always did for all my cars (with --noWorkshop), but this time I ran into problems.
There is nothing shown in Asset import view, even default cars are not shown! And it happens only if I choose to import as Vehicle, everything works fine if I choose importing as Building. You can see that in the pictures. Also there is a custom fbx left of my Mercedes-Benz German taxi, as some of you may know, it is already released some time ago and works fine, but currently it also does not show up in Asset Editor preview window.
Empty preview window, import is chosen as Vehicle (default is a sedan car):

Everything is fine here when import is chosen as Building (default is apolice station). MB also works fine.

I did all the imports with --noWorkshop and there were no custom Assets nor Mods enabled (from AppData folder)
      Any help?

    • I haven't compared this to the real-life version, so I cannot comment on how faitffully you recreated it, but since I have no particular connection to that building anyway, this aspect doesn't matter to me personally. What matters more to me is that this looks like a great BAT of a tower that is both rather generic and can pop up two or three times in a big city's skyline without standing out too obviously (provided you have enough other skyscrapers, with some iconic buildings to draw most of the attention) and also pretty interesting once you zoom in and take a closer look. That base makes it more than just your average black/brown/beige/grey box with window strips. As such, it can also look great when placed in a mid-rise environment. Thank you very, very much for keeping the lot editable, too! This offers great opportunities for adaptation to different playing styles and preferences. A day with a Diego Del Llano upload is always a good day in STEX terms.
    • Boom! Another great HT here! Hope Mr Tsvirkunov will open a new factory soon in my cities! Thanks for sharing your stuff!
    • Nice idea. Should anyone have preferences or favourite buildings they recall, it would certainly help narrow down the total. Especially with the filter list on the Wayback, the accompanying preview images are there at least to give some visual indication for anyone searching. If there really are 10,000 buildings, I suppose it's not even worth uploading 10% of them given the likely inconsistencies with quality.
    • It may be worth setting up some kind of "I would like ..." topic .... people can go thru the old exchange and point out to Cori the ones that should be retrieved ... it should end up a more manageable list
    • That could be arranged. But since these are legacy files, I don't think it matters too much either way since credit would be given. If Cori would like to continue uploading these (as intended following Dirk's approval), it may be nice for her to receive the occasional Rep as a by-product reward for retrieving, packaging and uploading them here. With hundreds if not thousands of them, it'd require a mammoth effort after all. (Should the quality of content resemble anything to the old SC4 EA exchange, I'm guessing it's not worth restoring all of them.)
