About This File

Nijo Station is a passenger train station aimed at moving moderate volumes of sims on and off the rails.

This gem of a station was originally created by APTX. With the demise of his site, many people have been left in the dark as to where to go to download his creations. With the help of DragonAnime, this station is now available for download on the STEX!

Like the NAM-compatible Bullet Train Mod (BTM) and bullet train skins I have uploaded from APTX in the past, good faith is assumed. Credit should be given to APTX for creating this station. I am merely uploading it to the STEX for all to enjoy, with the permission of APTX and the Simtropolis staff.

Dependencies: None
Recommended Downloads: Network Addon Mod (NAM)

Station specs:
Capacity: 10,000
Networks served: rail (passenger), bus, pedestrian, and car
Cost: $4,000
Demolition cost: $850
Monthly cost: $25
Size: 6x4

There are 2 rail lines included with this station. Ensure you drag 2 parallel rail networks through the station to ensure a working connection.

Simply extract the files to your plugins folder for it to work. The station will be found in your railways menu.

If you have any questions or concerns about the mod please post below.

Thanks and enjoy!

Have you ever wanted to build a 3 or 4 track rail line? Well now you can! By recent request I'm releasing these lots as seen in the CJ. Using these modular 1x1 lots(and one 1x2 lot) you can create a 3 or 4 track rail line of variable length. Unfortunately since these are lots they are not functional, we'll all have to wait a little while longer and hope the RRW/NAM team develops such a mod. The end pieces are however TE-enabled so it will tie in with rail lines properly. Originally I had also create a single track rail line using 1x1 modular lots but that file has been rendered obsolete by the STR mod(now part of the NAM). The mod is RRW and terrain mod compatible, both the rail line and base textures will change if you have the relevant mods installed as can be seen in the preview images above. There are 7 lots in total which can be found together near the bottom of the rail menu. The dependency below must be must be installed or you'll only get a blank grass lot.

Additional Dependency for RRW users only:

      SM2 cnut Grain Shipping.
Just like its namesake, it is a grain shipping facility. Farmers bring their grains, (wheat, barley, corn, oats and so on), on trucks which are then weighted on drive on scales. Grains are then vacuumed from the open trucks and are sorted and stored in their appropriate silos.
Grains are then pumped into specially made train cars and shipped to mills where they are turned into flour, corn starch, cereals etc.
This lot will also allow passenger trains to go through it so you will see both type of trains traverse it.
