  1. MHW Total Retexture Mod version 1.0 - Euro textures
     
    This mod is now included in the Network Addon Mod (from version 31 onwards)
     
    What is the MHW Total Retexture Mod?
    This mod will totally retexture your Maxis Highways to match the NAM's European Texture mods. This will retexture every single Maxis highway texture, including the NAM interchanges.
     
    Are there any issues?
    Unfortunately, due to the way Maxis Highways are UV-assigned, there are some texture issues, mainly with the NAM interchanges. This cannot really be easily avoided from a texturer's point of view, but the current texture issues aren't really that serious.
    If you happen to spot any other issues, please let me know.
     
    How do I install this mod?
    To install this mod, unzip the downloaded file to Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins. 
    IMPORTANT: Ensure the included .dat file is INSIDE a folder in your Plugins, for example the path might be Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins/zz_folder-name/retexture.dat
     
    If you have the NETWORK ADDON MOD v31 or higher...
    I'd recommend that you install this texture mod using the Network Addon Mod's installer. If you didn't select it during your install, you can run the installer again without removing your existing installation, and tick the box which can be found in the Textures section.

  3. Asphalt Highway Mod NAM Texture Fixes

    This mod will fix the missing textures from Thorvin's Asphalt Highway Texture mod.
    The missing textures are namely the NAM's Y interchange, the NAM's partial-Y, and the NAM's trumpet interchange.


    Known Issues:
    The trumpet interchange has a slight texture glitch at the merge between the on-ramps. This is only minor, and is only really noticeable at zoom 1.

    (Highly Recommended) Updated Asphalt Highway Textures by Haljackey
    Network Addon Mod

    Installation
    Simply unzip the downloaded folder into My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins. Make sure it is in a folder, not in the base Plugins folder, eg My Documents/SimCity4/Plugins/ZZZ_Asphalt_Texture_Fix or else the textures will not load. Also, make sure there is at least 1 'z' before the folder name to ensure it loads after the NAM itself.

  5. This package contains a variety of updates for Throvin’s Asphalt Highway Texture mod which helps to make it more compatible with the NAM and other downloads lurking in your plugins folder.
    Since the mod’s release, various new pieces for the Maxis Highway (MHW) network have been added by the NAM team and do not contain an asphalt texture. They will remain concrete-based while the rest of the highway is asphalt-based.
    An alternative is to use Mandelsoft’s Highway Restyling (HRS) mod, but some still like the grey look of Thorvin’s textures on our highway network.

    Use with 3dsmax and Gmax


    The optimal functioning of this texture is given for building a 4x4 Tiles in HD. However, you can use it partially for smaller roofs. It's a tillable texture, so you can create larger buildings.

    If you use 3dsmax, install the files:
    EcoGreenRooftexture.mat
    ToitureEcoGreen.Jpg
    ToitureAlpha.Jpg
    in your file MyFiles/3dsmax/materiallibraries, and open the librarie in your model

    If you use Gmax :
    Place the image ToitureEcoGreen.Jpg in "Diffuse" and you can use the Alpha Displacement.

    You are free to use these textures as you wish.

  18. Note:  This pack is now included as an option in the base NAM 31 package.  You no longer need to download it separately and it is only on here for informational purposes.
     
    This is a transit texture pack for the Tram-Road Addon Mod (T-RAM) in the Network Addon Mod. I made it in the GIMP because I usually don't build cities that would have the European textures originally in the NAM. This pack replaces everything that needed replacing except tram-in-avenue, changing the single white line in the center of tram-on-road to double yellow ones. Tram-in-road has a single yellow line on each side of the tram lanes, and center lines have been removed from crosswalks entirely. The only dependency is the Network Addon Mod (NAM). To install this, put the .dat file into your Network Addon Mod\Plugins folder.

  21. I'll keep it short and simple: this cosmetic mod adds concrete dividers and dashed lines (instead of solid lines) to your TuLEPs. It also includes revised intersection markings based off Australian markings.

    It is purely a cosmetic mod, so you will not need to demolish any pre-existing TuLEPs in your cities.

    To install:

    Simply drop the folder into your NAM folder, making sure it loads after the Plugins folder.

    A note: the Euro mod is incompatible with this cosmetic mod, as they override the same textures.

    If you do not already have the NAM, you will require it.   22. This plugin allows Adobe® Photoshop® 5.0 or later to load and save Fsh files.

    Images containing an alpha channel are handled differently depending on the version of Photoshop.
    Photoshop 5.5 or earlier will add the alpha channel to the channels palette.
    Photoshop 6.0 or later will use the alpha channel as the layer transparency.

  23. This is my first textures. I did a few of the broad webs of NWM. As soon will be ready and Lot-s with bus stops to them. A lot of time and effort it took this job but I do have to overlay textures, so if you look at them they are in LE Overlay menu. When the bus stops are ready to be TE and textures will have dependencies.

    Please vote with higher marks because I really need support.

  24. [b]Overview:[/b]

    This is a duplicate (additional) copy of ChrisAdams3997’s ALN Gravel Paths but using PEG’s dirt street texture.
    You can have both his original and this version installed together. This version is not a replacement. It's an addition.
    IMO, this better reflects the farm dirt roads (paths) found in the United States. These are found
    running off paved roads surrounding farms and generally lead to crop fields, barns, chicken coops,
    and livestock pasture feeding spots.

    My hat goes off to ChrisAdams3997 for his great job creating the alpha files necessary to create
    the overlay textures used on these lots. I also tip my hat to PEG for his dirt street texture which is
    (IMO) still the best dirt street/road texture created for SC4.

    [b]Water Bug:[/b] (Paraphrased from ChisAdam3397’s Gravel Paths readme)

    Due to unfortunate circumstances, the dirt paths cause an equally unfortunate rupture in the SC4 space/time continuum (Minkowski Space) that we've come to call, quite affectionately, the Water Bug. The result is the apparent 'disappearance' of any and all texture, allowing a view through the planet to the other side of the universe. This will occur whenever you save the game or enter the water menu. It may happen at other times as well but the simple solution is the same.

    1. Select the “zone” data view button.
    2. Select the “all off” data view button.

    Now all is right in the cosmos again. Easy.

    [b]How to use:[/b]

    All lots are in your Park Menu.
    There are 20 lots of sizes 1x1, 1x2, 2x1, and 1x3. There is 1 .dat file which contains the overlay textures.

    The 1x3 provides an eye-candy connection from the dirt path to PEG’s dirt road (street).
    I recommend using SAM (street addon mod) V3 which provides the PEG dirt streets both
    orthogonally and diagonally.
    Place the 1x3 lot where you want the dirt street be and connect to it (dragging) once to each end
    of the 1x3 lot. Basically, you can’t drag the street through the lot even though it’s transit enabled.
    The lot is fully functional once connected and your little sims (including automata) can use it.
    It allows for pedestrians, cars, buses, and freight trucks…. just like any other street.

    The remaining lots are only eye-candy and are pretty self-explanatory. A little practice to determine
    which pieces connect seamlessly to which pieces is all it takes.

    [b]Stats:[/b]

    Bulldoze, Plop, and Budget Cost are each 1 simolean.
    Park Effect: 5 with an effective range of 10 tiles.
    Power and Water are each 0.
    Air and Water Pollution are -10 each with an effective range of 10.

    [b]Lot Dependencies:[/b]

    There is only one dependency. It is needed for the PEG Dirt Street base textures (JS_Greenhouse.dat). If you don’t want the greenhouse, simply delete the JS_4x3_Agriculture_Greenhouses_3920b920.SC4lot file. If I had anticipated making more ploppable agricultural BATs I would have released the base textures by themselves. Shame on me. You can get the file here:

    [b]Installation:[/b]

    Unzip the contents of the zip file to your plugins directory. I recommend you create a subdirectory
    in your plugins folder (like “JS Dirt Paths”) and extract the files to there.

    Simply delete the installed files.

    This Plugin turns the RHW Euro textures into standard german Autobahn asphalt style.
    Based on the Euro Textures Mod Interim Version by MRTNRLN.
    Modified by myself with kindly granted permission.

    changes:
    - all straight pieces
    - diagonal RHW4
    - smooth RHW4 curves
    - FARHW
    - all puzzle pieces and transitions

    does NOT change:
    - diagonal RHW6
    - draggable ramps

    bugs:
    - some chevrons are pointing in the Wrong direction (cannot be fixed)

    Installation:
    Put the file zzzz_UV_GermanAutobahnTexturesMod.dat into the "...My Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins\Network Addon Mod\Real Highway Mod" folder.
    Make sure its in the same folder as the RHW mod.

    Dependencies:
    - Rural Highway Mod (RHW) v4.0
    - MRTNRLN Euro TRM for the RealHighway V4.0 - Interim Version 01
