      This month we're hoping for a little bit of a boost this month or next, in addition to covering the regular bills, we'd love to be able to do some hardware upgrades. Your contribution is so meaningful, every dollar counts! Hardware Upgrades We've received a recommendation to consider some hardware upgrades to our ageing server. As our website community software improves with more and more features, and as we bolt on additional features such as chat, the increased load to handle all these new toys is taking the server a bit to task. You may have noticed that we'd been forced to temporarily disable the chat as we worked out allocating resources for more optimal performance. Following this, we've applied a number of 'soft' changes such as caching options and experimented with server configurations (nginx as proxy, for example), so the hardware aspect is also an area we'd like to focus on. The last time we upgraded hardware was back in 2012, prior to the release of SC13. Your contribution means a lot! Your donation will go toward helping us to 1.) migrate to a newer server or 2.) at least get some ram/cpu/storage updates and any other infrastructure hardware or services.   3. This set of parks was made long time ago, shortly after the Lot Editor was released. They are rather simple, but have turned out quite well, and I still use them frequently. I never came around to upload them to the STEX, so they are now part of the SFBT series. The original values have been overhauled, and many improvements were made to the icons, UI etc. The paths are using deadwood's alignment props that show up in the lot preview when you are plopping the lots. They will briefly appear on jan. 1st of the following year, then disappear and never come back.

    The current version of the download contains 20 different lots. Apart from the orthogonal paths, it also features new diagonal paths, as well as various curves, a four-way intersection that was requested by a couple of users, and finally a new playground lot that fits in better than the in-game one by Maxis. All lots feature a new query window, which shows the wealth of the park lots.

  5. These Dutch Lighthouse lots are part of my set of Dutch Reward Lots that replace the Maxis Rewards. Both lots replace the Maxis Lighthouse. They have exactly the same stats.
     
    I provided two versions:
    A rural one for placement on a dune or in other natural surroundings.
    A seaport area one with a dirty shed and concrete textures for placement in a seaport or urban area.
    You can use only one of these reward lots in your plugins, so you have to choose and store the other in a safe place or delete it.
     
    I also provide Landmark versions of both lots. You can plop them as often as you like. You find them in the seaport menu.

  6. Contains 9 2x2 lots to choose from.  Each lot has a different character, animation, and a variety of props from SC4 Deluxe.
    All lighthouses cost 4000§ (Simoleons), earn 100§ a month, slightly reduce air and water pollution nearby, and have a moderate local park and landmark effect.
    All lighthouses are in the Reward Menu and are available for immediate plopping. The Maxis Reward lighthouse is not replaced and becomes available as usual.
    No External Dependencies:
    The dependencies in version 1 have been removed. I am using a smaller texture pack that I made for my lots which is included, and have replaced the Bus Stop with an extended Toll Booth Platform.
    The 'BaseTexturesElements_Grass.dat' is an internal dependency required for the lots above; it is included in this package in the folder 'z_Grass Base Textures'.
    I have made a 500K Base Texture Volume with textures I made for my lots linked below.   If the texture file below is used then delete the ' z_Grass Base Textures' folder as the textures are the same and don't need to be loaded twice.

    INSTALL
    To install select the folders for the lighthouses you want to use and delete the other sub-folders.   Don't delete the 'z_Grass Base Textures' folder unless you are using none of the lighthouses which require them or are using the larger texture volume (see above). 
    Copy and paste the 'Lighthouse 2x2 Lot Pack V2' into your User\Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins folder.

  7. 6 different 1x1*Holefiller* lots that can be used to replace some small parks(if you have too manyof them for looks) or as I use them as country houses on lonely roads,as cottages or in farmland,since they do not need electricity.Small park effects, no residents and no plopp cost. Again, simple, nothing special, but very USEFUl.Find them on top of the park column. Have Fun with Nexis!

    10x7 Landmark of city. The royal hall is thai style architecture, combine with small pavilions and great hall. Front has a golden buddha with bearing of ponder. Beside braceing with pair white elephants.

This is a series of ten 1x1 lots that work in conjunction with the original set (available here) to add more variation to the parking lots you can create.  With this set, you can build "L" and "T" shaped lots, as well as some other options. There are 4 new entrance lots, each with a capacity of 1,500, and 6 eyecandy lots, including a lot with shopping cart returns for your grocery store parking lots.  There will be additional add-on sets coming soon.

  12. The Civil Defence Tracking Station has been rebuilt with new tracking systems and a communications centre. In version 2, there are many new enhancements that are designed to warn your cities from natural hazards. The state of the art detection and city warning system is designed to scan and detect a large scale threat and warn the city (or country) in order for people to evacuate. The station constantly monitors, scans and measures for most type of natural hazards including earthquakes, hurricanes, and tsunamis. The station also links with satellites and space observatories.

    To find a threat, the station uses a comprehensive set of tracking methods. This includes a Doppler radar system that can detect and predict weather patterns, powerful radars that detect any incoming objects such as meteors, space junk or missiles and a system of accelerometers to measure seismic activity. The station uses rapid information communication to send and receive messages from other stations.

    [b]In the game[/b], the Civil Defence Tracking Station acts as a police station. It covers a whole (large) city in police protection. I have chosen to do this because it is better for the lot to have an in game function rather than it just be a landmark. For realism, the Civil Defence Tracking Station is best built on a mountain or near water. But the effects of the station (police coverage) still cover a large region when built in any area.

    [b]In version 2[/b], I have basically rebuilt my original [url="http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/444/civildefencetrackingsta.jpg"][color="#800080"]Civil Defence Tracking Station[/color][/url]. The only thing the same is the lot size and the car park! I have replaced some of the maxis industrial buildings and added some other more exiting ones. I have changed the mast from a Doppler radar to a more dominant and taller radar mast. The Maxis radars have also been replaced with some more interesting ones. The basic layout and stats are the same as version 1 (except for a few tweaks), but there are many differences and more detail added in this version. I have also updated the in game description and transit enabled the end of the roads.

  14. This is a pack of lots for the origonal Birka homes. Get the origonal pack Here ; you will need them for this pack to work.

    GrampaAl created these, to provide an alternative wealth level for them : R$$. The origonal pack included lots in the R$ level. This pack is an addon to that pack, and requires the origonal pack for the model files. You may delete one wealth pack of lot files (.SC4Lot) if you wish, but don't delete any other files, or these may not work properly.
    GrampaAl did his usual magic on these, and there are numerous little extras, as is his trademark. I'm sure will enjoy them.

  16. Similar to PEG's and jeronij's Seasonal Woods, this set features four different lots with seasonal woods, using the wonderful trees by Cycledogg. There is a 1x1 lot with mixed maple tree and oak shrubs, a 2x2 lot with mixed oak and elm trees, a 1x1 lot with mixed aspen trees and cottonwood shrubs, and finally, a 2x2 lot with mixed aspen and cottonwood trees. All lots have a transparent base texture, so they can be used with every terrain mod. They have a small air cleaning effect, otherwise, they don't impact the environment. Mix and rotate the 1x1 and 2x2 lots to get a more random appearance, and also leave some clearing between the lots now and then for maximum realism.

  19. Even if I like to share – about this one I was unshure. It is a simple ave roundabout filler (2x2) with 5 dependencies. And the dependencies aren't worth the lot - there's much more you should do with them to give them a value.

  21. A brand new steel mill, the name comes from the real Bethlehem Steel Co. (whose assets were bought out by International Steel Group Inc. recently) The office is/was located inBethlehem, Pennsylvania, as was a steel manufacturing facility until 1995, due to the low demand of heavy structural grade steel. The old plant has been sold and renamed the 163-acre site "Bethlehem Works" and will use the land for cultural, recreational, educational, entertainment and retail development - including the National Museum of Industrial History, in association with the Smithsonian Institution, and the Bethlehem Commerce Center, consisting of 1,600 acres of prime industrial property. UPDATE 1- Replaced some textures for a more realistic look. Works with Rush Hour, has not been tested without the expansion.

  24. These lots are an upgrade of the original Cycleway lots, and they have been modded properly this time.

    These cycleway lots are found in the health menu for two reasons: the health menu is relatively uncrowded, and these cycleways give a +4 health benefit over 20 tiles. They can be found at the very top.

    There are 7 lots in this basic package, and all new textures.
    These lots include:

    1x1 Straight Cycleway Tee Intersection X Intersection Diagonal Diagonal Corner Left Diagonal Corner Right Street Transition More pieces will be added in future expansion packs.

    This utilises a similar plopping system to jeronij's diagonal park trails with one important difference: you cannot seamlessly switch from diagonal to straight without using a diagonal corner piece.

    This lot uses a custom query and custom menu icon.

    There are no dependencies, though the NAM may be required for some pedestrian enabling to work as intended. It is recommended that you remove the original cycleways [Version 1] from your plugins folder and replace these with the new cycleways, but it is not necessary. All bug reports can be posted here. I have tried my best to weed out as many bugs as possible.

    This is a NO-DEPENDENCY lot, using only Maxis props, and the textures inside this zip file. If so requested, the textures may be released in a seperate zip file for LOT-BUILDERs.

  25. I have put my whole collection of remove mods all together. It also has been updated and gives you the option to remove Private schools, Fire Landing strip, Parks, and Landmarks. Like befor you have the option to pick what files to keep and to remove (The Landmark and  Parks just erases all of them).  These files will remove Firestation, Police, Schools, Museums, Landmarks, Rewards, Parks, and transportation buildings. This file will help you out if you have alot of custom lots and are running out of space in the menu. Hope you enjoy this file, Please comment and vote.
